Baymax is a private assistant used by one person, its owner, Kai. This page explains what it does with the data it reads from Google.
What Baymax reads
- Google Calendar: Kai's own calendars and events.
- Google Health: Kai's own activity, sleep and health measurements (for example steps, sleep, resting heart rate), read-only.
It reads this data only after Kai signs in with Google and approves access.
How it is used
The data is only used to show Kai his own schedule and fitness numbers and to give him reminders and daily summaries. It is not used for advertising, profiling or anything else.
Where it is stored
Sign-in tokens and short-lived caches are kept on Kai's own private server, which only he can reach. The data is never sold or shared with anyone else, and nobody else uses Baymax.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Baymax's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Access can be withdrawn at any time under Google Account → Third-party connections. Withdrawing access makes the stored sign-in useless, so all reading stops at once.
